Switching questions
How long does it take to switch to Aim?
Under 14 days, fully managed by our team. The scope is agreed on day 1, your data is moved by day 3, your team is trained by day 10 and you're live by day 14.
Which systems can you move us from?
Birdie, Nourish, Access, CarePlanner, Log my Care, Person Centred Software, CareLineLive and more, as well as spreadsheets and paper. If your system isn't listed, we agree the scope with you before we start.
What does it cost to switch?
Standard migration is £950 + VAT and Full migration is £1,950 + VAT, one-off. If you're new to care software, Setup is £250 + VAT with Aim Care Manager or £500 + VAT with Aim Business Suite. It may cost more if you have a lot of paper-based records to transfer. Then Aim Care Manager is from £15 or Aim Business Suite from £20 + VAT per staff a month, and annual plans get 3 months free.
Will we lose any data?
We look at your current system and agree the scope with you on day 1, and we work from your data export. We reconcile every record type against your old system and spot-check clients, care plans and medications with you. Anything that needs a look is flagged, and nothing goes live until you sign it off. Your old system stays untouched until then. Doing a switch yourself typically takes 6 to 12 months.
Do we pay for two systems at once?
We plan your go-live date around the notice period on your current system, so you can keep any overlap short. Annual plans also get 3 months free: 12 months for the price of 9.
Where is our data hosted?
Aim's application, database and document storage are hosted in London. Aim is NHS DSPT Standards Met, Cyber Essentials Plus certified and ICO registered. The Data Processing Agreement lists every provider and location.
Will you come to our office?
Yes, with Full migration, if you ask or if we think it will help. The visit is free. Your office team gets a live onboarding session, your carers are set up on the app, and your dedicated account manager stays with you from day one.
