A Milestone for Data Security in Care
Aim Automations Ltd, the company behind Aim, has completed the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) for 2025–26 with a result of "Standards Met".
The DSP Toolkit is an annual self-assessment, published by NHS England, that organisations use to show they practise good data security and handle personal information correctly. Meeting the standards shows that the way we store, process and protect data meets the expectations set for organisations that work with health and care information.
What "Standards Met" Means for You
For the care providers, staff, clients and families who use Aim, this result shows that:
- Personal and sensitive data is handled in line with the NHS data security standards
- We have policies, access controls and processes in place to keep information safe
- Data security is reviewed every year, because the toolkit has to be completed annually

Security Built In, Not Bolted On
Aim is built so people stay in control of every change. Carers, seniors, managers, finance and family each see only what their role allows. Every record change, check-in override and approval is logged with who, what and when. Aim Assist and Aim Agents work inside the permissions you set, and care notes are checked for safeguarding language so concerns reach a manager fast.
See how that audit trail helps you evidence good care on our CQC compliance software page.
You can review all of our certificates, reference numbers and verification links on our Security & Compliance page.
